These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the e-shop operated by Takis Charalambous LTD (“we”, “our”, “us”) through https://www.shop.takis.com and any associated pages, products, or services. By browsing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or complete a purchase.

  • Colours, finishes, and materials may vary depending on screen settings and lighting

  • Minor variations in dimensions or finishes may occur due to manufacturing tolerances

Such variations do not constitute defects.

4. Pricing & Payments

4.1 Pricing

All prices on our website are listed in Euro (€) and do not include VAT.
VAT is calculated automatically at checkout in accordance with Cyprus and EU regulations. All taxes and charges will be clearly displayed before completing the order.

Prices may change at any time, and we reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. If a price is incorrect, we may cancel the order even after confirmation but before dispatch.

4.2 Payment Methods

Payments are processed through the secure Stripe Gateway, accepting major debit and credit cards. All orders require payment authorisation before processing.

4.3 Security

Payment information is encrypted and processed by our payment provider.
We do not store full card details on our servers.

4.4 Gift Cards

Gift Cards purchased via the Studio Office e-shop are subject to separate Gift Card Terms & Conditions, available by clicking here.
Gift Cards are redeemable online only and are subject to specific rules regarding validity, redemption, refunds, and use.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the Gift Card Terms & Conditions, the Gift Card Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

5. Consumer vs. Business Orders

These Terms apply to both consumers and businesses.

Consumer protections under EU Directive 2011/83/EU apply only to individuals purchasing for personal use.
Business customers (including sole traders purchasing for business purposes) are not covered by consumer withdrawal rights.

By placing an order, you confirm whether the purchase is for consumer or business use.

6. Placing an Order

6.1 Order Confirmation & Acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an automated confirmation email. This email acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance.
An order becomes legally accepted only after dispatch.

6.2 Order Refusal

We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Payment problems

  • Suspected fraud or misuse

You will be informed if an order is cancelled or cannot be fulfilled.

7. Shipping & Delivery

By placing an order, you agree to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier issues, weather conditions, customs delays, or stock availability.

Risk of loss transfers to you once the order is delivered or signed for unless otherwise required by law.

Large or bulky items may require specialised delivery arrangements; customers must ensure that the delivery site is accessible.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns, refunds, and cancellations follow our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable EU consumer law.

8.1 Withdrawal Right (Consumers Only)

Consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period (“cooling-off period”) from the date of delivery. Items must be returned unused, in original condition, and with all packaging, components, and documentation.

8.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Assembled or installed furniture

  • Custom, made-to-order, or personalised items

  • Items without original packaging

  • Items damaged due to improper handling or installation by the customer

8.3 Refund Conditions

Refunds are issued only after returned goods are received and inspected. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

8.4 Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. After dispatch, standard return rules apply.

9. Warranties

9.1 Manufacturer Warranties

Most products include a manufacturer warranty varying by brand and category. Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects.

9.2 Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, accidents, or improper handling

  • Improper installation or assembly by the customer

  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs

  • Damage caused by failure to follow care or installation instructions

Proof of purchase is required for all claims.

10. Liability & Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages

  • We are not responsible for losses caused by courier delays or delivery issues

  • Our total liability is limited to the value of the product purchased

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under EU or Cyprus law, including liability for defective products or gross negligence.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content — text, images, graphics, logos, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Takis Charalambous LTD. No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used without our written consent.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements. By using our website, you consent to the processing of your data as described in that policy.
