Takis Charalambous LTD (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to delivering your order safely, efficiently, and with full transparency. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process shipments, the delivery options available, and what you can expect when ordering from our e-shop at https://www.shop.takis.com.

1. Delivery Coverage

1.1 Cyprus Delivery

We deliver across Cyprus using the following options:

  • ACS Courier (home or office delivery)

  • BOX NOW (delivery to automated parcel lockers)

  • Store Pickup (free, from our showrooms)

  • Studio Office Delivery Team (for oversized items such as seating and large furniture)

1.2 Greece Delivery

We deliver from Cyprus to Greece through the following options, depending on the item type, parcel dimensions, and weight:

A) ACS Courier (Cyprus to Greece)
Home or office delivery to Greece via ACS Courier, subject to ACS service coverage, parcel size, and weight limits.

B) BOX NOW (Cyprus to Greece Parcel Lockers)
Delivery to Greece via BOX NOW automated parcel lockers (APM), subject strictly to BOX NOW parcel size and weight limits.

C) Delivery to Partner Warehouse in Greece
Delivery to a partner warehouse in Greece. Once the shipment arrives at the partner warehouse, we will provide you with the partner’s contact details so you may arrange either:

  • Pickup from the partner warehouse, or

  • Delivery to your address in Greece (arranged directly with the partner).

1.3 International Shipping

We do not currently offer delivery outside Cyprus or Greece.

2. Shipping Costs

2.1 ACS Courier (Cyprus)

Shipping fees within Cyprus typically range between €5 and €10, depending on the delivery area and the size or nature of the item.

2.2 ACS Courier (Cyprus to Greece)

ACS Courier delivery from Cyprus to Greece is charged at a fixed rate of €35.00 (excl. VAT) per parcel.

This rate applies regardless of parcel size or weight, provided the shipment meets ACS Courier’s service and handling limits.

Returns (where applicable): €35.00 (excl. VAT) per parcel.

2.3 BOX NOW (Cyprus Parcel Lockers)

BOX NOW delivery costs depend on the locker size selected:

  • Small locker: €2.00 (excl. VAT)

  • Medium locker: €2.00 (excl. VAT)

  • Large locker: €3.50 (excl. VAT)

  • Returns (where applicable): €2.00 (excl. VAT)

2.4 BOX NOW (Cyprus to Greece Parcel Lockers)

BOX NOW delivery from Cyprus to Greece is charged at a fixed rate of €14.00 (excl. VAT) per parcel.

This rate applies regardless of locker size, provided the parcel meets BOX NOW’s Greece delivery size and weight limits.

Returns (where applicable): €14.00 (excl. VAT) per parcel.

2.5 Greece Delivery via Partner Warehouse

For deliveries to our partner warehouse in Greece, shipping charges depend on the item size, weight, and shipping method used.

Any applicable charges for delivery to the partner warehouse will be communicated and confirmed with you prior to dispatch where required.

Any additional delivery charges from the partner warehouse to your final address in Greece (if requested) are arranged and paid directly between you and the partner and are not included in our checkout shipping fees unless explicitly stated.

2.6 Free Shipping Threshold (Cyprus)

Orders with a value of €75 or above qualify for free delivery within Cyprus. This applies only to eligible delivery methods and eligible items. Free delivery does not apply to Greece shipments.

2.7 Automatic Calculation

Where available through our checkout system, delivery charges are automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

For partner warehouse shipments, final shipping charges may require confirmation after checkout and before dispatch, depending on the item category.

3. Delivery Timeframes

3.1 ACS Standard Delivery (Cyprus)

Estimated delivery times:

  • Up to 1 week for small items

  • Up to 2 weeks for larger or heavier items

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

3.2 ACS Delivery (Cyprus to Greece)

Estimated delivery timeframe is provided by ACS Courier at checkout or upon dispatch. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to operational capacity, customs procedures, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

3.3 BOX NOW Delivery (Cyprus)

BOX NOW deliveries are made to automated parcel lockers. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

3.4 BOX NOW Delivery (Cyprus to Greece)

Estimated delivery timeframe is within 3 business days via air transport. This is an estimate only and not guaranteed.

3.5 Greece Delivery via Partner Warehouse

Delivery timeframes for shipments sent to our partner warehouse in Greece vary depending on courier schedules, shipment type, and operational capacity.

Once the shipment arrives at the partner warehouse, any additional delivery time (if delivery to your address is requested) is arranged directly with the partner.

3.6 Order Processing and Dispatch

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days. A dispatch confirmation email is sent once the order is shipped.

  • Orders placed Monday–Thursday after 4:30 pm are shipped the next business day

  • Orders placed Friday after 1:00 pm are shipped on Monday

  • Orders placed on weekends are shipped on Monday

3.7 Seating and Large Furniture

Oversized items such as seating and large furniture are not shipped via ACS Courier or BOX NOW.

Within Cyprus, these items are delivered by the Studio Office delivery team under scheduled delivery routes.

For Greece, oversized items may be available only via the partner warehouse option, subject to availability and prior arrangement.

3.8 Peak Periods

During holiday seasons or promotional events, delivery times may be extended.

4. BOX NOW Size and Weight Limits

4.1 Cyprus

Maximum parcel dimensions: 62 × 45 × 36 cm
Maximum weight: 20 kg

4.2 Cyprus to Greece

Maximum parcel dimensions: 35 × 45 × 62 cm
Maximum weight: 7 kg

Parcels exceeding these limits are not eligible for BOX NOW delivery to Greece.

5. Tracking

Order confirmation email is sent immediately after purchase.
Dispatch notification is sent once the order ships.

Tracking details depend on the delivery method:

  • ACS Courier: tracking number and link

  • BOX NOW: locker details and personal PIN

  • Partner warehouse shipments: tracking where available

6. Delivery and Collection

6.1 ACS Courier

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday during business hours. A signature may be required.

6.2 BOX NOW Parcel Lockers

Customers collect parcels using a personal PIN code. Lockers operate 24/7.

Uncollected parcels may be returned or processed according to BOX NOW policies. Any additional costs resulting from non-collection may be charged to the customer.

6.3 Partner Warehouse (Greece)

Once delivery to the partner warehouse is confirmed, the customer is solely responsible for contacting the partner and arranging pickup or onward delivery.

Any costs, delays, disputes, insurance, or service issues between the customer and the partner are outside the responsibility of Takis Charalambous LTD.

7. Risk Transfer

Responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer at the earliest of the following:

  • Courier confirms delivery

  • Parcel is collected from a BOX NOW locker

  • Shipment is confirmed delivered to the partner warehouse

This does not affect mandatory consumer rights under applicable EU law.

8. Store Pickup

Store pickup is free of charge.

Pickup locations:

  • Studio Office Nicosia

  • Studio Office Larnaca

  • Studio Office Limassol

9. Delivery Restrictions

Customers are responsible for providing correct delivery details. Failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges.

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruptions, weather, strikes, technical issues, customs checks, or force majeure events.

10. Order Modifications

Modifications are possible only before dispatch. Once shipped, changes are not possible and returns follow the Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Damaged or Missing Items

Any damage or missing items must be reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos.

12. Returns Shipping Charges

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return and delivery method used. Refer to the Returns & Refunds Policy.
