Takis Charalambous LTD (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to delivering your order safely, efficiently, and with full transparency. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process shipments, what delivery options are available, and what you can expect when ordering from our e-shop at https://www.shop.takis.com.

1. Delivery Coverage

1.1 Cyprus Delivery

We currently deliver exclusively within Cyprus. All orders are shipped through ACS Courier, our nationwide delivery partner serving all regions across the island.

1.2 Greece Delivery (Coming Soon)

We are working toward expanding our delivery services to Greece. This service is not yet available, and dates may change as logistics are finalised.
Updates will be announced on our website and official communication channels.

1.3 International Shipping

We do not currently offer delivery outside Cyprus or Greece.

2. Shipping Costs

2.1 Standard Delivery Rates (Cyprus)

Shipping fees within Cyprus typically range between €5 and €10, depending on the delivery area and the size or nature of the item.

2.2 Free Shipping Threshold

Orders with a value of €75 or above qualify for free delivery within Cyprus.

2.3 Automatic Calculation

All delivery charges are automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

3. Delivery Timeframes

3.1 Standard Delivery

Estimated delivery times:

  • Up to 1 week for small items

  • Up to 2 weeks for larger or heavier items

Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
Actual delivery times may vary due to courier capacity, weather conditions, stock availability, public holidays, or peak seasonal periods.

3.2 Order Processing Time & Dispatch

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email once your order has been shipped.

  • Orders placed Monday–Thursday after 4:30 pm are shipped the next business day.
  • Orders placed on Friday after 1:00 pm are shipped on Monday.
  • Orders placed on weekends are shipped on Monday.
  • Seating & Large Furniture Deliveries

Oversized items such as seating, are not shipped via ACS Courier. These items are delivered through our own Studio Office delivery team and follow our weekly delivery scheduling. You will receive a phone call from us 1–2 days before delivery to confirm the delivery day, time window, and access details.

During holiday seasons or promotional events, delivery times may be slightly extended. We will notify you of any significant delays when possible.

4. Tracking Your Order

4.1 Order Confirmation

You will receive an automated email immediately after placing your order.

4.2 Shipping Notification

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • An ACS tracking number

  • A link to the ACS tracking page

  • An estimated delivery timeframe

4.3 Tracking

You may use your tracking number on the ACS Courier website to monitor the progress of your shipment.

5. Delivery Process

5.1 What to Expect

  • ACS Courier will deliver to the address provided at checkout

  • Deliveries occur Monday to Friday during standard business hours

  • A signature may be required upon delivery

5.2 If You Are Not Home

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful:

  • ACS may leave a notification

  • You may arrange redelivery directly with ACS Courier

  • You may collect your parcel from the nearest ACS service point

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery or leave clear instructions at checkout.

5.3 Risk Transfer

Once an order is delivered and signed for (or confirmed delivered by ACS), responsibility and risk are transferred to the recipient, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Store Pickup Option

6.1 Free Store Pickup

Store pickup is available at no additional cost.

6.2 How It Works

  • Select “Store Pickup” at checkout

  • We prepare your order

  • You receive a notification when your order is ready

  • Collect your order from your chosen showroom

6.3 Pickup Locations

Orders can be collected from:

  • Studio Office Nicosia

  • Studio Office Larnaca

  • Studio Office Limassol

7. Delivery Restrictions & Special Cases

7.1 Remote or Hard-to-Access Locations

Some remote areas may experience extended delivery times. If unsure, please contact us before placing your order.

7.2 Large or Heavy Items

Certain large or heavy products may require special handling or an extended delivery window. Our team may contact you directly to coordinate delivery.

7.3 Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If a package cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information:

  • Additional delivery fees may apply

  • You may need to collect your parcel from an ACS service point

Please ensure all details at checkout are accurate.

8. Order Modifications

8.1 Before Dispatch

If you need to modify your order, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will make every effort to process your request before dispatch.

8.2 After Dispatch

Once an order is in transit, modifications are not possible. You may need to follow our Returns & Refunds Policy after receiving the item.

9. Damaged or Missing Items

9.1 Inspecting Your Delivery

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Inform the courier if possible

  • Take clear photos of the item and packaging

  • Contact us within 7 days at [email protected]

Failure to notify us within this timeframe may limit our ability to assist, but does not affect your legal warranty rights under EU law.

9.2 Missing Items

If items are missing from your order:

  • Check your order confirmation

  • Contact us within 7 days

We will resolve the issue promptly.
